From his book, Slaughterhouse Five, Kurt leaves this on the tombstone of his main character. It is the big picture...Everything you see, everyday, is so beautiful. Even if something in itself is not, it makes something else look beautiful in comparison, which is a truer beauty than the purely visual. it is because of this perpetual beauty that nothing can ever hurt. Some things may seem that way, but it takes only a step away to see the underlying truth....
